Privacy Policy

Speak Up respects the privacy of children and parents. This page explains how information is handled when you use the Speak Up website and app.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use Speak Up, basic information such as your name, email address, login details, trial or subscription status, and learning progress may be stored. This information is used only to provide and improve the service.

2. Children's Privacy

Speak Up is designed for young learners, but accounts and payments are intended to be set up and managed by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is needed to provide the learning experience.

3. Learning Progress

Lesson progress, completed units, and activity results may be saved so that children can continue learning from where they left off. This data is tied to the user account and is not shared with third parties.

4. Payments

Payment information is processed through a secure third-party payment provider. Speak Up does not store full card numbers or banking details on its own systems. Please review the payment provider's own privacy policy for further details.

5. Technology Used

Speak Up uses services such as Firebase (by Google) for secure login, database storage, hosting, and app functionality. These services have their own privacy and data handling policies.

6. How We Use Information

Information collected is used to provide access to lessons and activities, save learning progress, manage trial and subscription access, improve the service over time, and respond to support requests.
